My Story
There was a time when I found it difficult to express what I was feeling. I learned to keep things to myself, even when the emotions felt heavy.
In my late teens, I went through a period of depression that I didn’t fully know how to talk about. Around the same time, I witnessed a close family member navigate emotional pain within their marriage. Seeing that kind of silent struggle had a deep impact on me—it showed me how isolating it can feel when you don’t have the space to be heard.
When I eventually reached out for therapy, it became a turning point. What stayed with me was not just the techniques, but the experience of being listened to without judgment. It helped me slowly understand my emotions and find a sense of grounding within myself.
That experience continues to shape how I work today.
I now work with individuals and couples who are navigating emotional strain, relationship conflicts, and patterns that feel difficult to break. My focus is not on fixing you, but on helping you understand yourself more clearly and respond to your life with greater awareness.

I’m Navtej Malhotra, a Psychotherapist.
I work with adults experiencing emotional strain in their relationships—whether with partners, parents, in-laws, or even within themselves.
Many of the people I work with feel stuck in patterns of conflict, self-doubt, or emotional exhaustion. They try to hold everything together, but underneath it all, they feel unheard, overwhelmed, or disconnected.
My approach to therapy is integrative and trauma-informed, drawing from humanistic, psychodynamic, and body-based practices. I strive to create a space where you can speak openly—without fear of judgment or pressure.
My work is deeply informed by my own lived experience. I understand what it’s like to carry emotions silently and struggle to express them. Therapy helped me find language for my feelings—and more importantly, a sense of grounding and clarity.
At Nav Health Clinic, my focus is simple: helping you understand your emotions, navigate your relationships with greater clarity, and feel more steady within yourself.
